FAQ

Which language combinations does Top-Text bvba offer?

We have an extensive network of professional translators enabling us to provide translations from and into most European languages. All translations are handled by experienced translators who are native speakers of the target language in question and who are well-versed in the subject matter of the text to be translated.

How do you determine the price of a translation?

The price depends on a variety of different factors:

  • The number of lines in the target language: in which one line is equal to 60 characters including spaces. Please bear in mind that a translation generally tends to be longer than the text to be translated.
  • The language combination: a translation from Dutch into French is cheaper than a translation from Dutch into a less common language.
  • The nature of the text: the more specialised the text is, the more specialised the translator needs to be, which means that the price will be slightly higher accordingly.
  • The deadline: if you need the translation back urgently, which requires us to move other assignments around and for which we are called up to perform evening and/or weekend work, this too will obviously be reflected in the price.

What is the best way for me to supply my text to be translated?

  • The quickest and most efficient way is by e-mail in an established file format (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, ...)
  • By post or by fax
  • On CD rom or memory stick
