Translation rates

Our translation rates are calculated on the basis of the number of translated lines. One line equals 60 characters, including spaces.

To calculate the number of lines of any MS Word document, simply click 'Extra' and 'Count words' (or 'Check’ and 'Count words' in Office 2007). Divide the number of characters (including spaces) by 60 and this gives you the number of lines. Please bear in mind that a translation can be up to 20% longer than the source text.

The rates apply for general texts. For specialist texts, a supplement may be charged which we will obviously notify you of.

We adopt a € 50.00 minimum rate (€ 75.00 minimum rate for sworn translations).
